Chinmaya Mission Presents “A Game of Life” Family Event

Chinmaya London presented this event on Dec 7th, with family games, children’s activities & dinner, featuring a talk for adults on  “Raising Teens” by Acharya Vivek (read bio) – to end the 1st semester of the 2014 -15 academic year. The event was attended by a full house of 175 attendees.

The event started at 4:00pm with Acharya Vivek talking about “Raising Teens” to the adults in the small GYM. A video of this very informative talk will be posted on our website shortly. The children played games and sport organized by our volunteers in the big gym. Children also took part in arts and crafts organized by our high school volunteers/youth.

Later at 5:00 pm families (adults and children) played games together which was coordinated by Acharya Vivek ji. The games brought out the best in the families – listening skills, organizing skills, problem solving skills and team work irrespective of age. Everyone enjoyed the games thoroughly, and adults learned a lot from their younger team mates.  After Aarti, dinner was served at 6:00pm. The program wrapped up at 7:00pm – truly an evening filled with learning, fun and love.
