Literacy rate in Khoba is amongst the lowest in the province of Gujarat, while lack of nutrition leads to various health issues including sickle cell anemia etc.  Set against the lush green jungles and  scenic backdrop of the Sahyadri mountains,  is the remote tiny village of Khoba, in Valsad district in the Province of Gujarat, India.  The village is home to 745 people from the ancient Adivasi (Tribal) communities called Kukna, Varli  & Kolcha. The nearest town is 52 kilometers away.

Your generous donations to help us raise $ 3000, that will help us support:
1.     The services of a well-qualified teacher for 4 months.
2.     Provide nutritious meals to 150 students for a period of 3.5 months.

Of course, the more we raise, the longer  we can serve this cause.

Hundred percent of your donations will go towards the cause, as this is completely run by volunteers at Srishti Foundation – Canada  & its partner organization, Lokamangalam Charitable Trust in India. i.e. zero overheads.

Your generous donation will serve as a lifeline to keep these children well nourished & educated, during these uncertain times due to COVID-19 and its economic impact.

All donors will receive a receipt & detailed reports of
1. Total amounts raised & transferred to Khoba with a paper trail of the transfer.
2. Utilization report comprising  work & expense report.
